Install Product Studio on a Zid store
This guide shows you how to install the Product Studio app on a Zid store and check that the connection works, so you can set up your first customized product.
Before you startโ
- An active store on Zid
- An account with permission to manage apps
- At least one product in the store to test with
Step 1: Open the Zid App Marketโ
- Sign in to your Zid dashboard.
- Go to Apps or Zid App Market.
- Search for the Product Studio or PopupSnap Product Studio app.
Step 2: Install the appโ
- Open the app page.
- Click Install.
- Review the permissions the app asks for, then confirm the connection.
The app usually needs permission to read products, orders and product options. This lets it show your products and receive the customization details after a purchase.
Step 3: Check that the installation workedโ
After you install and connect the app, check that:
- Your store shows in the dashboard with an active connection status.
- Your store's product list shows inside Product Studio.
- You can open the Studio from a product.
Common problemsโ
The app does not show in the Zid App Marketโ
- Check the app name you searched for.
- Make sure your account has permission to manage apps.
- Try signing in to Zid again.
The connection fails or dropsโ
- Repeat the authorization step from the app page.
- Make sure your browser is not blocking popups.
- Contact support if the error continues.
