Understand impressions, clicks and subscribers

This article explains what each number on the countdown's Detailed insights page means.

When to use this article

  • You are not sure of the difference between Impressions and Clicks.
  • You want to know how Signup rate is calculated.

Definitions

Impressions

The number of times the countdown was shown to visitors of your store.

Clicks

The number of clicks or taps on the countdown. One click is counted for each impression. Clicks have been counted this way since October 5, 2026. Earlier numbers included mouse movement.

Subscribers

The number of visitors who submitted their details in the countdown's form. This number applies to countdowns whose template has an email field or a form.

Signup rate

The number of subscribers divided by impressions.

For example, if the countdown was shown 1,000 times and 20 visitors signed up, the signup rate is 2%.

Where do I find these numbers?

  • For one countdown: My campaigns > Statistics. See View your countdown performance.
  • For all your countdowns and popups together: open Analytics from the menu. The page shows Impressions, Subscribers and Clicks columns for each popup.

Check that it works

  • You read Signup rate as the share of subscribers out of impressions.
  • You do not compare Clicks from before October 5, 2026 with later numbers.
