Understand orders and revenue from your countdown
The Orders and Revenue cards appear in the countdown's analytics when their value is above zero. This article explains how they are calculated.
When to use this article
- You see orders attributed to the countdown and want to know why.
- You want to understand the limits of these numbers.
How are orders attributed?
Attribution here is by view, not by click:
- When a visitor sees the countdown, their browser remembers it.
- On the order confirmation page, PopupSnap records the order for the countdown the visitor saw.
Important rules:
- The attribution window is 7 days.
- Attribution works in the same browser only. If a visitor sees the countdown on a phone and completes the order on a computer, the order is not attributed.
- One order can be attributed to more than one popup if the visitor saw several popups.
- If an order's amount is above 100,000, the order is counted without an amount.
So the number does not mean that the countdown alone caused the order. It shows the orders completed by visitors who saw the countdown.
Where do I see them?
- For one countdown: My campaigns > Statistics. See View your countdown performance.
- In the My campaigns list, the Total orders and Total revenue cards show the total of all your popups, not one countdown.
Check that it works
- You compare the number of attributed orders with your orders in your Salla dashboard.
- An order is counted only if it was completed within 7 days of seeing the countdown, in the same browser.
