Understand countdown types: popup or product page
Countdown Timer is available on Salla only for now. You can show it in two ways: as a popup, or as a card on the product page above the buy button. Both count down to a date and time you choose, in Riyadh time (UTC+3).
What is the difference between the two types?

When do I use the countdown popup?
Use it when you want to draw the customer's attention to a store-wide offer, or collect emails before the offer ends. You control its pages and times on the settings page. See Set the countdown end date and time.
When do I use the offer countdown above the buy button?
Use it when you want the customer to see when the offer ends while they decide to buy, without a popup covering the page. See Add an offer countdown above the buy button.
Is there a countdown that starts when each customer arrives?
The product page countdown has a 24 hours per visitor option in the Timer section. It counts for each customer from their first visit, separately for each product page, and the time is stored in their browser. It runs for the number of hours you choose in Duration hours (from 1 to 720). The Offer countdown above the buy button template starts on Fixed end time, and you can change it.
The countdown popup always counts down to a fixed date, once you save the end date.
Is there a countdown that repeats every day?
No. For a daily offer, choose the end date for each offer, or use the schedule to set the days and hours the popup shows. See Schedule countdown visibility by date, day and hour.
Do all popup templates count down to the date I save?
Yes. Once you save the Offer end date and time in the editor, the countdown counts down to that date in every countdown template.
