Duplicate a countdown timer for a new campaign

If you already have a countdown, you can duplicate it and change the time and text for a new campaign.

When to use this article

• You are repeating an offer with the same design.
• You want to try different text without touching the original countdown.

Before you start

• The original countdown must exist in My campaigns.

Steps

1. Open My campaigns from the bar at the top.
2. In the countdown's row, click ….
3. Click Duplicate popup. On a phone, tap More, then Duplicate popup.

4. PopupSnap creates the copy and opens its editor straight away. "Opening editor..." appears for a moment. You do not need to find the copy in the list first. The copy is named the same as the original, followed by " - copy". For example, "Black Friday countdown" becomes "Black Friday countdown - copy".
5. Change the Offer end date and time and edit the text if needed.
6. Click Save changes.
7. Click Publish popup when you are ready.

note

The copy is created paused, and visitors do not see it until you publish it. It also counts as a new popup toward your account limits.

Check that it works

• You can find the copy in My campaigns, named like the original, followed by " - copy".
• Its status is Paused until you publish it.

Common errors

Error	Fix
You forgot to change the end time in the copy	Open the copy and edit the Offer end date and time.
The copy does not show on your store	Publish it. See Publish or pause a countdown.
