Delete a countdown timer

This article shows you how to delete a countdown from the My campaigns list.

warning

Deleting a countdown also deletes the subscriber data it collected. You cannot undo a deletion.

When to use this article​

  • The campaign is over and you no longer need the countdown.
  • You created a countdown by mistake.

If you only want to hide the countdown, pause it instead of deleting it. See Publish or pause a countdown.

Before you start​

Steps​

  1. Open My campaigns from the bar at the top.
  2. In the countdown's row, click the … menu.
  3. Click Delete. On a phone, tap More, then Delete.
  4. Read the confirmation message: "Are you sure you want to delete β€œCountdown name”? This cannot be undone."
  5. Click Delete popup. To go back, click Cancel.

Check that it works​

  • The message "Popup deleted successfully." appears.
  • The countdown disappears from the My campaigns list.

Common errors​

ErrorFix
You deleted a countdown with data you had not exportedYou cannot recover it. Export the data before you delete next time.
You only want to stop the countdown for a whileTurn off its status switch instead of deleting it.
