Install Countdown Timer on your Salla store

This article shows how to install the Countdown Timer app on your Salla store, and how to reach the screen where you create your first countdown.

Countdown Timer is available on Salla only for now.

When to use this article​

Use it when:

  • You want to install the app for the first time.
  • You installed the app and do not know where to go next.
  • You want to check that the app is installed on your store.

Before you start​

  • Your store must be on Salla.
  • Sign in to your Salla dashboard with the store owner's account.

Steps​

  1. Open the Countdown Timer page in the Salla App Store.
  2. Click the install button on the page.
  1. Complete the steps Salla shows until the app is added to your store.
  2. PopupSnap sends you a welcome email (its subject line is in Arabic) with a sign-in link that works for 48 hours.
  3. Open the app from your Salla dashboard, or sign in to PopupSnap.
  4. The templates page opens. If you have no countdowns yet and you opened PopupSnap directly (not inside Salla), PopupSnap creates a ready-made countdown named Offer ending soon and opens it in the countdown editor.

The sign-in link in the welcome email opens the general popup creation page, not the countdown page. To reach the countdown templates, open the app as in step 5, or follow Open Countdown Timer.

Check that it works​

  1. In the menu on the left, open Grovlix app marketplace.
  2. In the Installed apps section, find the Countdown Timer card. The marketplace names it Countdown.
  3. Check that its status is Installed and running, with a Manage app button next to it.
