Track orders and revenue from Lucky Wheel

This article explains how Orders and Revenue appear in the wheel's Detailed insights.

When to use this article

  • You want to understand orders and revenue in the wheel's analytics.
  • You want to know why a particular order was not counted.
  • You want to compare PopupSnap's numbers with Salla's reports.

How is an order attributed?

Attribution is based on viewing the wheel, not on using a coupon code. If the customer views the wheel and then completes an order within the attribution period, the order is attributed to the wheel.

  • From the browser: the browser keeps the customer's views, and after the order is completed on the order success page, the order is recorded with the popups the customer viewed. The attribution period is 7 days.
  • From Salla: if the customer is signed in to Salla, the order is attributed when the order signal arrives from Salla within 24 hours of the view.
  • One order may be attributed to several popups if the customer viewed several popups.

Before you start

Publish the wheel and wait for customers to visit it.

Steps

  1. In My campaigns, click the Statistics icon next to the wheel (its name appears when you point to it).
  2. Choose the date range.
  3. Check Orders and Revenue.

What you should know

  • The Orders and Revenue cards appear only when the value is greater than zero.
  • The Revenue card does not show a currency symbol.
  • Salla's reports are the final record of orders. Use them for comparison.
  • For a long-term record of orders, keep Salla's reports.

FAQ

Why is a sale missing from the wheel's revenue?

The customer may not have viewed the wheel in the same browser, the attribution period (7 days) may have passed, or the order signal may not have arrived.

Does using a coupon code prove the sale came from the wheel?

No. PopupSnap does not use the coupon code for attribution. It relies only on viewing the wheel.
