Fix a Lucky Wheel that is not showing

The problemโ€‹

You published the wheel, but you do not see it in your store, or a customer says it does not show for them.

Possible causesโ€‹

  1. The wheel is not published.
  2. The browser has reached the spin limit.
  3. The page you open is not covered by Where the wheel appears.
  4. Other display rules do not apply right now.
  5. The subscription is not active, or the monthly impressions limit is used up.
  6. A few minutes have not passed since you published.

Fix for each causeโ€‹

1. The wheel is not publishedโ€‹

Open My campaigns and find the wheel. If its status is Paused, it is not published. Open the Wheel editor and click Publish popup. When it works, the badge Published ยท Live on your store appears.

2. The browser has reached the spin limitโ€‹

The default is one spin per browser and device. After a customer spins the wheel, neither the wheel nor the mini wheel shows for them again.

To test, open your store in a private browsing window, or clear the site data in your browser. See Reset a browser test session.

3. The page is not covered by "Where the wheel appears"โ€‹

In the Wheel editor, open the Wheel settings card and check Where the wheel appears. The options are:

  • All store pages
  • Homepage only
  • Homepage and product pages

If you chose Homepage only, the wheel does not show on a product page. Change the option and click Save changes.

4. Other display rulesโ€‹

These rules also stop the wheel from showing when they do not apply right now: the display timing (after a number of seconds, on exit intent, or at a scroll percentage), the device (desktop or mobile), the schedule (date, day and hour, all on Riyadh time, UTC+3), the targeted pages, and the display frequency.

5. The subscription is not active or the impressions limit is used upโ€‹

In both cases, PopupSnap shows no popups at all on your store. You may see one of these messages in the dashboard:

  • "Popups can't run right now because this account's subscription isn't active."
  • "Popups can't run right now because you've reached this month's impressions limit."

Renew your subscription or upgrade your plan. The monthly impressions limit counts by calendar month, on Riyadh time.

6. A few minutes have not passed since you publishedโ€‹

Changes reach your store within a few minutes. Wait a little, then reload the page.

Check that it worksโ€‹

Open your store in a private browsing window and check that the wheel shows on the right page.

When to contact supportโ€‹

Contact support if you tried every cause and the wheel still does not show. Send the wheel's name, the link of the page you tested and your device type.
