Open the countdown display settings
The rules for when and where a countdown appears, and on which device, are not inside the countdown editor. You find them on the settings page, and this article shows you how to get there.
When to use this article
- You want to change when the countdown appears, or the devices or the schedule.
- You are looking for a settings link inside the editor and cannot find it.
Before you start
- Create a countdown. See Create your first countdown timer.
Steps
- Open My campaigns from the bar at the top.
- In the countdown's row, click ….
- Click Settings. On a phone, tap Settings directly instead of …. The Edit popup page opens, with the countdown's name at the top.
The countdown editor has no link to this page. Use the steps above.
Tabs on the page
Inside the tabs, you open sections by clicking their titles, and some are closed at first.
| Tab | What it has |
|---|---|
| General | The popup's name and its status. |
| Display | Where, when and on which device the countdown appears, and how often. |
| Schedule | The dates, days and hours when the countdown appears. |
| Integrations | The action after signup, the autoresponder and service integrations. |
Buttons at the top of the form, next to the tabs:
- Save: saves your changes. A green "Updated successfully" message appears.
- Publish popup: saves and publishes the countdown. "Popup Published successfully" appears.
- Close: closes the page.
At the top of the page are the Design editor, Advanced editor, Preview and Statistics buttons.
Check that it works
- You see the four tabs.
- After you click Save, "Updated successfully" appears.
