Show the countdown on mobile or desktop

In the Devices section, you choose which screens show the countdown.

When to use this article​

  • You want the countdown to appear on mobile only, or on desktop only.

Before you start​

Steps​

  1. Open the Display tab.
  2. Open the Where should the popup appear? section by clicking its title, then scroll down to Devices.
  3. Choose Show on desktop to show the countdown on computers.
  4. Choose Show on mobile to show it on phones.
  5. Click Save.

The summary appears on the "Where does it appear?" line in the preview panel next to the form, depending on your choice:

  • Show on all devices
  • Show on desktop only
  • Show on mobile only
  • No devices selected

A screen counts as small if the browser window is 768 pixels wide or narrower.

Check that it works​

  • The summary shows Show on all devices if you chose both options.
  • Open your store on a phone and on a computer and check that the countdown appears.

If you choose neither option, the summary shows No devices selected and the countdown does not appear on any device.
