Choose the right Lucky Wheel template
Use this article to choose the design your wheel starts from.
When to use this article
- You want to launch a new wheel quickly.
- You want to compare wheel designs.
- You want to know what you can change after you choose a template.
Before you start
- Decide on your goal: a discount, free shipping or a gift.
- Write down the prizes you plan to offer.
Steps
- In the menu on the left, open the Lucky Wheel group, then click Available templates. If you also have the Popups and notifications app, click the Lucky Wheel row instead. The templates page opens on the Lucky Wheel category.
- If you are looking for a specific template, use the "Search templates..." box.
- PopupSnap shows 15 templates first. Click Load more to see the rest.
- Check each card. A card shows the conversion rate (for example "Conversion rate 12%") and how many times the template was used.
- Click Choose template on the template you want, then finish the steps in Create your first Lucky Wheel.
How to choose
- Start simple if this is your first wheel. You can change the text, colors and prizes later.
- Check the form fields. Each template has its own fields: some ask for an email address, some for a name and phone number, and some have no fields at all, only the spin button. You cannot add or remove these fields in the editor. Choose a template whose fields match what you want to collect.
- Check the result page. Some templates have a result page that you edit in the Thank-you page tab.
Check that it works
- The template opens in the Wheel editor.
- The template's segments show in the Prizes and coupons card.
Common errors

| A template with a Requires app badge and an "Install …" button | The app is not installed on your account. Install it, then come back and choose the template. |
| You chose a template that is not a wheel | Go back to Available templates and choose the Lucky Wheel category. |
| The template's fields do not suit you | Choose another template. You cannot edit the fields. |
FAQ
Can I change the template later?
To try another design, create a new wheel from the template you want. In the editor, click Want a different template? All templates to open the templates page. Your old wheel stays as it is.
Are all templates available on every plan?
Yes. Every Lucky Wheel template is available on every plan. The only lock you may see is Requires app, when the app is not installed.
