Delete one or more subscriber records

You can delete one record from the Subscribers page, or select several records and delete them together. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.

When to use this article​

  • You submitted a test form in the countdown and want to delete it.
  • A customer asked you to delete their data.
  • You want to clean up the records of an old campaign.

Before you start​

Steps​

Find the record​

  1. Open Subscribers from the menu on the left. If Countdown Timer is your only app, open Countdown timer in the menu on the left, then Subscribers.
  2. In the "Search..." box, enter part of the email, name or phone number. The search also covers the countdown's name.
  3. To see the records of one countdown, choose it from the All popups list. On a phone, tap Filter first.

The list shows the newest first, and the times in the Added at column are Riyadh time.

Delete one record​

  1. In the Actions column, click the trash can icon next to the record.
  2. In the Delete data message ("Confirm delete?"), click Delete, or Cancel to go back.
  3. The record disappears from the list.

Delete several records​

  1. Select the boxes next to the records. A bar appears with the number of selected records, Clear selection and Delete selected.
  2. Click Delete selected.
  3. Read the confirmation message. It says the action cannot be undone. Click Delete to confirm.
  4. A success message appears, such as "3 subscribers deleted successfully" (the number changes).

Limits for bulk deletion​

  • Select all selects only the records on the current page.
  • Up to 100 records at a time.
  • Up to 50 delete operations per minute.

Check that it works​

  • Search for the record again. No results for this search appears.

Common errors​

An error occurred while deleting subscribersTry again in a moment. If it keeps happening, select fewer records.
You deleted a record by mistakeYou cannot recover it.
