Check Add to cart trigger compatibility

Use this article when the wheel should appear after a customer clicks Add to cart, but it does not.

Note

The trigger option in PopupSnap is called "When Add to cart is clicked (experimental - Salla stores only)". It is experimental and works on Salla stores only.

Quick fix​

  1. Open a standard product page in your store in a private browsing window.
  2. Click the usual Add to cart button.
  3. Wait for the wheel to appear.
  4. Try another product page.

Why this happens​

Custom store themes can change the Add to cart buttons, and the trigger may not recognize every custom button. Because the option is experimental, it may not work in every theme.

How to fix it​

  1. Check that the trigger works on a standard product page.
  2. If it fails only on a custom page, ask your store theme developer to review the button.
  3. If the trigger is not reliable in your theme, choose a different display trigger, such as showing the wheel after a number of seconds.

Check that it works​

The wheel appears after you click Add to cart on a standard product page.
