Test a lead submission safely

Use this article to try collecting customer details with fake data.

When to use this article​

Use it before you publish the wheel, or when you cannot find a customer in Subscribers.

Before you start​

  • Publish the wheel.
  • Prepare fake data. Do not use a real customer's details.

Steps​

  1. Open your store in a private browsing window.
  2. Enter the fake test details in the form.
  3. Click the spin button and wait for the result page.
  4. In the menu on the left, open Subscribers.
  5. Check that the test record appears.
  6. Delete the test record if you no longer need it. See Delete subscriber records.

Check that it works​

The Subscribers table shows the test record with its coupon code.
