Fix missing lead or coupon data
The problem
You cannot find a customer on the Subscribers page, or the code you expected does not show.
Possible causes
- The customer did not submit the form.
- The template has no fields, or no email field.
- A segment has no coupon code.
- The browser already used its spin.
- The connection to your email tool is not working.
Fix for each cause
1. The customer did not submit the form
- Open the wheel in your store in a private browsing window.
- Enter test details and click the spin button. The spin button is the form's submit button.
- Wait until the result page appears.
- Open Subscribers and look for the record.
If the same customer sends the same details to the same popup again within 30 seconds, PopupSnap ignores the second submission.
2. Check the template's fields
The form fields come from the template. Some templates have no fields, and some have no email field. If you want to collect email addresses, choose a template with an email field.
3. Check the coupon codes
PopupSnap saves only the coupon code, in a field named coupon. It does not save the prize text. Open the Prizes and coupons card and check that every segment has a code in Coupon code, then click Save changes.
4. An earlier spin
The default is one spin per browser, so the wheel may not show for someone who already tried it. Use a private browsing window.
5. The connection to your email tool
PopupSnap sends customers to Mailchimp or Acelle Mail only when the customer has a valid email address. A wheel that collects only a phone number sends nothing. See Connect wheel customers to Mailchimp or Acelle Mail.
Check that it works
The test record shows in Subscribers with its coupon code.
When to contact support
Contact support if you tried every fix and the test record still does not show. Send the wheel's name and the time of the test. Do not send real customer data.
