Make a choice set the product's final price

Make the price of a choice the full product price, such as a large size for SAR 149.

Salla stores only

Steps​

Path: Options > a Picks from a list option > This option changes the price > Price type

  1. Click Options and open a Picks from a list option.

  2. Turn on This option changes the price. See Make a choice add to the product price in Salla.

  3. In Price type, choose Final product price. The price of the choice becomes the full product price, such as SAR 149 instead of SAR 89.

    Each choice starts at the product price plus its earlier extra. What the customer pays does not change. A final price you entered before stays as it is.

  1. Enter the final price under each choice. For a free choice, enter 0. An example with your product price shows under the price type.

  2. Publishing alone does not add the option to Salla. Click Add the options to Salla, then confirm the message. After you confirm, the button writes the option and its prices to your product in Salla right away.

    Is the option already in Salla and you changed its prices? Click Update the option in Salla. The button updates the option in Salla right away. See Add the options to Salla and update them after edits.

  3. Click Review & publish, then Publish now.

What your customers see​

For the customer, the price of the choice is the full product price, with nothing added on top. In Salla, each choice becomes a product combination with its own price. These combinations count toward the 100-combination limit. See Stay under Salla's 100-combination limit.

Good to know​

  • Only one option can set the final price. If another option already sets it, "Only one option can set the final price…" appears, and nothing changes.
  • An empty price box stops publishing. For a free choice, enter 0.
  • A price below the product price, or 0, may show a warning under the choice. The warning does not block saving or publishing. 0 means the choice is free.

Not showing?​

  • Cannot find Price type? It shows after you turn on This option changes the price, in a Picks from a list option.
  • Product price in Salla does not show? It shows only when the product price is known. Without it, the price boxes start empty.
