Publish or pause a Lucky Wheel
Use this article to make the wheel visible to your customers or to stop it from appearing.
When to use this articleโ
- You want to launch a new wheel.
- You want to pause a wheel for a while.
- You cannot publish and want to know why.
Before you startโ
- The wheel's segments are complete, and each winning segment has a coupon code.
- You checked the results with Test winning result. See Preview and test your Lucky Wheel.
Stepsโ
Publish from the editorโ
- In the menu on the left, open the Lucky Wheel group, then click Manage popups. The My campaigns page opens.
- Click the Edit icon next to the wheel.
- Click Publish popup. The button is in the bottom bar on wide screens and at the top of the editor on smaller screens. PopupSnap saves your changes first, then publishes.
- Check that the badge next to the button now reads "Published ยท Live on your store" and that the button now reads Unpublish.
The wheel's status appears in the badge next to the button. On desktop, PopupSnap asks you to confirm before it unpublishes.
Publish or pause from My campaignsโ
In My campaigns, move the Status switch between Live and Paused. A wheel that has not been published yet shows Paused. No success message appears; only the switch changes. If it fails, the switch moves back and a message appears.
Publish or pause from the settings pageโ
In My campaigns, click โฆ next to the wheel, then Settings (on a phone, tap Settings). In the General tab, use Enable/disable or Publish popup, then Save. Saving the settings with Enable/disable turned off pauses the wheel.
Pauseโ
Click Unpublish in the editor, or move the switch to Paused. Pausing does not delete the wheel or its subscribers. If you Delete the wheel, its subscribers are deleted too.
Changes reach your store within a few minutes.
When does PopupSnap block publishing?โ
- "Could not save changes before publishing": the save did not work. Saving is blocked with fewer than two segments or more than 12, a segment with no text, or a duplicate coupon code. A prize with no code only warns you.
- "The Lucky Wheel needs the Lucky Wheel app. Install it on your store from the Salla App Store, then publish the wheel.": install the app.
- "Your Lucky Wheel app subscription has ended. Renew it to publish this popup.": renew the app subscription.
- "Platform not found. Please reopen the app for the intended store.": open the app again from your store's dashboard.

Check that it worksโ
- The badge reads "Published ยท Live on your store".
- After a few minutes, open your store in a private browsing window and check that the wheel appears.
Common errorsโ

FAQโ
Does pausing a wheel delete it?โ
No. Pausing only stops it from appearing.
