Edit a set in My library and update its products

You edit the set once, then choose when the published products that use it update.

Steps

Path: My library > Sets > the set's name

1. Click the set to open it. From the Studio, click Edit for all in the "Linked to library" bar.
2. Edit the choices you want. The save bar shows at the bottom of the page.

3. To publish the edit now, click Save & update the product. With more published products, the button names how many, such as Save & update both products.

   This publishes the products right away, and your store changes within about a minute.

4. Or click Save only, update later. Published products keep the previous version.

   Drafts take the edit as soon as you save. If no published product uses the set, only Save shows.

5. Later, in "Where it’s used", click Update & publish next to the product. The product is published right away.

6. Optional: for a product that keeps its own version, click Detach next to it. You can click Undo changes within 8 seconds.

Copy or delete the set

Click the three-dot button ⋯ in the set. Choose Make a separate copy to make a copy that no product uses.

Or choose Delete set, then Delete and keep copies. Each product keeps its options, and nothing changes in your store.

What your customers see

After the update, the customer sees the new choices on the product page. A product you did not update shows the previous version, and its status is "Shows the older version".

Good to know

• The update does not change anything in Salla. A price linked to a Salla value stays as it is.
• Product Studio does not publish a product that has other unpublished changes. Open it in the Studio, then Review your product and publish it to your store.
• If "Save or undo your changes first" appears, save, or click Undo changes in the save bar.

Not showing?

• You do not see Update & publish? It shows only next to a product on an older version.
• A message says the products could not be updated? The set is saved. Click Update & publish in "Where it’s used".
• The difference between linked and a copy: Linked to My library or a separate copy?
