Library settings in the Studio
Path: Products > Open Product Studio > Library
The library holds sets of choices you use in more than one product. Edit a set once and every product that uses it updates. The other option settings are in Option settings in Product Studio.
Libraryβ
Click Library in the Studio sections menu. The same screen as My library opens inside the Studio, without its heading. It is explained in The My library page in Product Studio. It has + New set, and the Sets and Uploaded images tabs. Open a saved set and click Use in this product to add it as a new option.
Add from my libraryβ
On the "What does the customer choose?" screen, click From my library. The Add from my library screen opens. Enter a search term in the "Search your libraryβ¦" box and click the set. Product Studio adds it as a new option and takes you back to the options list. In a list option that is not linked and is not a picture option, you find Link to a saved set and Copy a setβs choices at the bottom of its settings. Both put the set's choices in place of the option's current choices. If the option is linked to an option in Salla, Product Studio asks you first. Click Replace the choices to put the set's choices in their place. The option's Salla link is removed. What the Salla link means is in Price and Salla settings in an option.
Edit for allβ
A linked option shows a Linked to library bar at the top of its settings, with the set's name. Click Edit for all to open the set in My library. What you change there updates in every product that uses it. It is explained in The My library page in Product Studio. If "The saved set changed" appears, click Update the link to get the set's latest choices.
Detach for this productβ
Click Detach for this product in the bar. This option becomes a copy of its own for this product, and keeps its choices. Product Studio detaches it right away, without asking you to confirm. If "The linked set is no longer here" appears, click Detach for this product to keep the choices.
Save to my libraryβ
Click Save to my library at the bottom of the option's settings to use its choices in other products. It shows for a list option that has at least one choice and is not linked to a library. The set is saved in My library under the option's name, with the choices' prices. The message "Saved" appears.
