What are layers in the product preview?

What it looks like

You find the layers in What customers see.

Use it when

• You want to tell an option from a layer. An option is what the customer chooses. A layer is what is drawn on the picture.
• You want a picture that always shows. Add a Fixed image.
• You want a spot for the customer's text or image. Use a Text spot or a Customer image spot.
• You want a picture that changes with the customer's choice. Its pictures are uploaded inside the option it is linked to.
• You do not want a layer to move by mistake. Click Lock layer.
• You want to hide a layer you added in the Studio. Hide in preview hides it from the preview, and from your customers after you publish. On an older product, the product photo may still show after you hide it. If so, contact support and send what helps us solve it.
• You want to move or resize several layers together. Click Select.

Layer order

Put the layers in order with Move up and Move down. You may find the Product photo from your store under all the layers. The picture at the bottom of the list sets the preview's size and shape, so use pictures that are all the same size.
