A Salla message stops the product from going in the cart

These messages come from Salla. Usually the cause is stock or a bundle setting in Salla.

Salla stores only

What you see

The customer clicks the add to cart button, a Salla message appears, and the product is not added. The message is one of these:

  • "The product … is currently unavailable", or "The quantity of the selected option for product … is currently unavailable"
  • "You need to add product … from the product details page to select the required products"
  • "Please select at least 5 products from the “…” section. Only 1 product selected"

The names and numbers in the message depend on your product. Salla shows these messages in your store's language, so the exact wording may differ.

Most likely cause

The cause is in Salla itself, not in the widget. Usually it is missing stock, or a bundle setting in Salla.

Fix

1. Why does "The product … is currently unavailable" appear?

The product or the choice the customer ordered has no stock in Salla. Add stock to it in your Salla dashboard. If the product is a bundle, check the stock of each product in it.

2. Why does "You need to add product … from the product details page" appear?

This message comes from Salla, not from the widget. It appears when the customer adds a bundle from the "Complete your order" section that Salla shows. Salla does not add the bundle from this section. Ask the customer to open the bundle page and add it from there.

3. Why does "Please select at least 5 products from the … section" appear?

A section in the bundle asks for more products than it has. Open the bundle in your Salla dashboard. Set the minimum of each section to the number of products in it, or add products to the section. Did you create the bundle on the Bundles page in the app and not change it in Salla? Contact support and send what helps us solve it.

Still stuck?

Click Contact support in the Studio, and send us:

  • The message text exactly as the customer saw it.
  • The product page link.
  • Whether the product is a bundle or a regular product.
