Publishing blocked: the print file setup is incomplete

Usually the crop of the customer image is linked to a print file that no longer exists. Open the option from the card.

What you see

In Review & publish, one of these messages appears:

  • Under Fix before publishing, on a card with the option's name: "The print file settings point to something that was deleted. Review them in the order output section."
  • Under Fix before publishing: "The print file has no size or resolution. Complete it in the order output section."
  • Under Notes β€” won’t block publishing: "The print file does not include any part of the customer’s design. Review it in the order output section."

Most likely cause

The crop of the customer image is linked to a print file from an old setup that no longer exists.

Fix

1. "point to something that was deleted"

The fix is in the option itself, not in Order output. Click Open option on the card. The option's name follows the button text. Open Advanced crop settings. Under Print file, choose Automatic: the first print file linked to this option. Then publish again. The steps are in Review your product and publish it to your store.

You do not see Print file there? Contact support and send what helps us solve it.

2. "does not include any part of the customer’s design"

This is a note under Notes β€” won’t block publishing. You can publish while it shows. There is nothing in the Studio to change for it. An order file does not show the customer's design? Follow The print file was not created or will not download.

3. "has no size or resolution"

No setting in the Studio fixes this message. Contact support and send what helps us solve it, and include the product name.

Still stuck?

Click Contact support in the Studio and send us:

  • The product name.
  • The option name on the card, if there is one.
  • A screenshot of the message in Review & publish.
