Customer text is too small, hidden or in the wrong place

Usually you need to make the Font size bigger, or move the text layer up.

What you see

• The customer's name shows small on the product image.
• A fixed image covers all or part of the text.
• The text is away from where you want it.
• The diacritics above the letters show in the wrong place.
• The customer's box has text in it before they type.

Most likely cause

The font size is small, or the text layer is under a fixed image in What customers see.

Fix

Every change here reaches your customers after you publish again. The steps are in Review your product and publish it to your store.

1. The text is small

Open the text option in Options. Drag Font size to a larger number. The preview in the Studio changes right away. On a phone: open Preview to see the difference. If the name is long and shrinks, make the spot bigger with Size. All the font settings are in Choose the text font and color, or let the customer choose.

2. The text is in the wrong place

Open Precise position in the text option. Enter a number from 0 to 100 in Horizontal % and Vertical %. A number outside this range does not move the text. Or drag the text into place on the product image. On a phone: open Preview to drag the text. The explanation is in Place the text or the customer's image on the product.

3. An image covers the text

Open What customers see. The layer higher in the list shows on top. Click the Move up arrow next to the text layer until it is above the image.

4. The diacritics are in the wrong place

The Studio colors the letters and their diacritics with one color from Text color. Diacritics in the wrong place? Contact support and send what helps us solve it.

5. The customer's box has text before they type

If you do not want ready-made text, clear Default text and leave it empty. To show an example, enter it in Placeholder text.
